Michael Moser
Client Care Specialist
Some people find their way into the helping professions gradually. For me, it was never really a choice, it was just what made sense. Whether it was working emergency dispatch at 2 a.m., sitting with a student in in-school suspension, or supporting a family navigating crisis, I’ve always been drawn to the spaces where people need someone to show up and stay present. That’s still what I’m here to do.
I came to this work through a long, nonlinear path — emergency services, education, and now counseling — and that journey has given me something I wouldn’t trade: I know what it feels like to navigate systems, to be overlooked, and to have to fight for your own wellbeing. That lived experience shapes how I show up for every client and every family I work with.
As a Client Care Specialist, my goal is simple: make sure you feel welcomed, heard, and supported from the very first contact. Whether you’re navigating insurance questions, scheduling your first appointment, or just figuring out where to start, I want that process to feel human, not clinical.
I’m a graduating senior in Counseling and Applied Psychology at Arizona State University and will begin my Master of Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me deep in Houston sports — the Astros, Texans, Dynamo, and yes, even Wolverhampton Wanderers across the pond. And I may or may not be in the middle of a very committed MCU rewatch project.
If you’re ready to take the first step — or just have questions about what that step might look like, I’m here for it. You don’t have to have it all figured out to reach out. That’s what we’re here for.
