Licensed Professional Counselor Associate | Spring, TX & Telehealth Across Texas

You Can Be Independent and Still Need Somewhere to Put It All Down.

Maybe you're used to figuring things out on your own. You push through stress, talk yourself out of your feelings, and tell yourself you'll deal with whatever is bothering you later. But “later” keeps getting pushed back, and lately you may feel more anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply unlike yourself.

Kendall Kilchrist, LPC-A, works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm who want a place where they can be honest about what they're carrying without feeling judged or pressured to have all the answers. She provides therapy in person at our Spring, Texas office and virtually through telehealth across Texas.

With Kendall, therapy isn't about being told what's wrong with you. It's about having someone genuinely listen, help you make sense of what's happening, and work alongside you as you figure out what you want to do next.

Therapy That Actually Feels Like a Conversation

Therapy can be meaningful without every session feeling heavy.

Kendall brings a warm, approachable style to counseling and believes a strong therapeutic relationship matters just as much as the tools used during sessions. She wants you to feel comfortable asking questions, laughing when the moment calls for it, sitting with something difficult when you need to, and saying what you're actually thinking.

You don't need the perfect words.

You don't even need to know exactly what you want to work on yet.

Sometimes the first step is simply having a place to start talking.

When Life Feels Like a Lot

You don't have to be experiencing a major crisis for therapy to be useful.

Kendall works with clients who may be dealing with:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry
  • Stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • Difficult life transitions
  • Relationship or interpersonal concerns
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Emotional regulation
  • Feeling stuck or uncertain about what's next
  • Difficulty balancing responsibilities and their own needs
  • A desire to better understand themselves

Some clients come in knowing exactly what they want to change. Others know only that the way they've been feeling isn't working anymore.

Both are valid places to begin.

From Supporting Clients to Becoming Their Therapist

Kendall's connection to mental health care didn't begin when she stepped into the therapist's chair.

Before becoming a clinician, she worked directly with clients as a Client Care Specialist at our Spring office. She saw firsthand how difficult reaching out for help can be—from making that first phone call to finding the right therapist and actually showing up for the first appointment.

That experience continues to shape the way she approaches counseling today.

Kendall understands that there is a person behind every appointment. She values making therapy feel approachable, comfortable, and genuinely centered around the individual sitting across from her.

Her journey within GHCS has also given her a unique understanding of the entire client experience and reinforced why creating accessible, compassionate mental health care matters.

We'll Figure Out What Works for You

Kendall doesn't expect every client to need the same thing from therapy.

Your personality matters. Your experiences matter. Your relationships, culture, responsibilities, strengths, and goals matter too.

Rather than forcing you into a predetermined version of what therapy is supposed to look like, Kendall works collaboratively with you to understand what you're experiencing and what you would like to be different.

Together, you may work on developing practical coping strategies, understanding emotional patterns, strengthening confidence, improving how you respond to stress, or making decisions that feel more aligned with the life you want.

The goal isn't to turn you into someone else.

It's to help you feel more equipped to be yourself.
