Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate
Holistic Therapy for Children, Adults, Couples & Families in Spring, TX
When One Part of Life Hurts, It Rarely Stays There.
Stress doesn't just stay in your mind.
It can affect your sleep, your relationships, your patience, your confidence, and even your physical health. Grief can leave you feeling exhausted. Anxiety can make everyday decisions feel overwhelming. Relationship struggles can quietly influence every other area of your life.
Maybe you've noticed those connections in your own life. You know something doesn't feel quite right, but you can't point to just one thing that's causing it.
That's because healing isn't about fixing one problem.
It's about caring for the whole person.
I'm Geeta Amador, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate providing therapy in our Spring, Texas office and virtually throughout Texas. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, I believe every person deserves a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood, not just for the challenges they're facing today, but for the experiences that have shaped them along the way.
My Approach Starts with the Whole Picture
Before becoming a therapist, I built my career in nursing, pharmacology, and healthcare administration.
Those experiences taught me something that continues to guide my work today:
Our emotional health doesn't exist separately from the rest of our lives.
Our bodies respond to stress.
Relationships influence our emotional well-being.
Major life changes can affect every part of who we are.
That's why I don't believe in treating symptoms alone. I believe in understanding the full picture—your experiences, your relationships, your strengths, and your goals, so we can create lasting, meaningful change together.
Therapy Isn't About Having All the Answers
Many people come to therapy believing they should already know what's wrong or how to fix it.
You don't have to.
Sometimes therapy is simply having someone help you untangle thoughts you've been carrying for years.
Sometimes it's learning healthier ways to cope with anxiety or grief.
Sometimes it's helping your child put words to emotions they don't yet understand.
Sometimes it's rebuilding communication in your relationship after life has gotten in the way.
Whatever brings you here, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.
The People I Love Working With
I enjoy supporting clients across every stage of life, including:
- Children experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges
- Teenagers learning to navigate big emotions and life changes
- Adults managing anxiety, depression, or overwhelming stress
- Couples working to strengthen communication and connection
- Individuals processing grief, trauma, or major life transitions
- Families seeking healthier ways to support one another
No matter where you're starting, my goal is to help you build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen your relationships, and feel more confident moving forward.
Therapy Designed Around You
Every person's story is different, which means therapy shouldn't look the same for everyone.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Trauma-Informed Care
Together, we'll create an approach that fits your unique needs while building skills you can continue using long after therapy ends.
More Than a Therapist
One of the greatest lessons my career has taught me is that healing isn't something we rush.
Whether I was working in healthcare or now as a therapist, I've seen how powerful it can be when people feel genuinely cared for and truly heard.
That belief continues to shape every session I have. My hope is that therapy becomes one place where you don't have to carry everything alone—where you can slow down, breathe, and begin moving toward the life you want with confidence and compassion.
