You’re Not “Too Much”—You’re Carrying Too Much
Life can feel overwhelming. Maybe your emotions are louder than usual, or maybe they’ve gone quiet altogether. Maybe you're stuck in patterns that once helped you cope but now leave you feeling disconnected, weighed down, or not quite like yourself. Whether it’s the weight of the past or the fear of the future, one thing is certain: you’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to stay this way.
I believe that healing begins in the present. Together, we can get curious about your emotions rather than afraid of them. We can untangle the pain and learn what it’s trying to say. We can explore new ways to move through life’s challenges with intention, clarity, and self-compassion.
How I Work
I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating everything from anxiety and depression to trauma, chronic pain, addiction, and relationship difficulties. I create a therapeutic space that is supportive, nonjudgmental, and grounded in your individual needs. You won’t be rushed. You won’t be “fixed.” You’ll be met exactly where you are.
My approach is eclectic and holistic—I draw from a range of modalities including:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Somatic and trauma-informed practices
Existential and humanistic therapies
This flexible blend allows us to tailor the work to you, helping you reclaim your voice, understand your emotional world, and feel empowered in your choices.
When I’m Not in Session
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with my husband, family, and close friends. Nature is my go-to reset, especially when paired with music and a long walk. I’m also a big fan of stories—whether through books, podcasts, or movies that pull me in and make me think.
A Quote That Guides My Work
“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” — Jon Kabat-Zinn
If you’re feeling stuck or exhausted from trying to keep it all together, I’d be honored to walk with you. At GHCS, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
