Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Therapist for Anxiety, Burnout & Life Transitions in Richmond & Memorial, TX

You’re the Person Everyone Thinks Has It Together.

You're responsible. People rely on you.

You show up for work, school, your relationships, and somehow keep everything moving even when you're running on empty.

Most people would probably say you're doing just fine.

But they don't see the constant overthinking. The pressure you put on yourself. The mental replay of conversations at 2:00 a.m. The feeling that no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough. Maybe you've gotten so used to surviving that you can't remember what it feels like to actually enjoy your life.

If any of that sounds familiar, you're not alone.

I'm Anderson Pham, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate providing therapy in our Richmond and Memorial offices. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and groups who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, break free from patterns that no longer serve them, and create a life that feels more authentic, not just more productive.

Therapy That Doesn't Feel Like Therapy

One of the biggest misconceptions about therapy is that you have to come in with everything figured out.

You don't.

You don't need the perfect words. You don't need to know exactly why you're struggling. You definitely don't need to worry about saying the "right" thing.

Therapy isn't about fixing what's wrong with you, it's about slowing down long enough to understand what's been happening beneath the surface all along.

Some sessions might be heavy. Others might involve laughing about the absurdity of being human. Sometimes we'll focus on practical tools you can use this week. Other times we'll connect dots between experiences you never realized were related. The best therapy feels less like being analyzed and more like having someone genuinely curious about your story.

The People I Connect With Most

I work especially well with people who have spent years carrying more than anyone realizes.

The perfectionists. The people-pleasers. The overthinkers. The "therapist friend." The ones trying to meet everyone else's expectations while quietly wondering who they are underneath it all.

Many of my clients come to therapy because they're experiencing:

  • Anxiety and chronic overthinking
  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion
  • Depression or feeling disconnected from themselves
  • Trauma or difficult childhood experiences
  • Relationship challenges
  • Life transitions and uncertainty
  • Cultural or family expectations
  • Difficulty managing emotions or setting healthy boundaries

On the outside, they're functioning. Inside, they're exhausted. Together, we work toward something more than just getting through the day, we work toward feeling like yourself again.

More Than a Therapist

Outside of work, I'm probably searching for a new coffee shop, trying the latest restaurant TikTok convinced me to visit, building custom mechanical keyboards, playing video games, or debating anime with friends. Those interests aren't just hobbies, they remind me that connection often starts in the little things we enjoy.

I believe therapy should feel human. You don't have to leave your personality at the door. You don't have to pretend to have everything together. You just have to show up as yourself.

If you're looking for a therapist who values authenticity, curiosity, and genuine connection and who believes healing happens when you feel truly understood, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
